What is the best English translation of the Qur'an, with paralell Arabic text?

I purchased an English translation with parallel Arabic text by Muhammad Abdel-Haleem today, but if anyone knows of any other good or better translations, then I would greatly appreciate reference.



I am asking this in Religion %26amp; Spirituality as I feel there are possibly many more people here who may be able to answer.

Most of the Muslims I know and have spoken with prefer the translation of Yusef Ali.

i agree with Mathew , Yusuf Ali translation is the most accurate one. look for the original book .it has the Arabic text in the middle of the pages and the translation all around. He tries to give the reader a deeper explanation of the sentences and words. because the translation word by word from Arabic to English can never be accurate. thus the need for more in-depth . and Yusuf Ali is the best !
