You will get thawab of getting knowledge of Quran. But reciting Quran should be only in Arabic. So, you won't get thawab of reciting but get the thawab of seeking knowledge of Deen.

no it isnt similar.we recite it in arabic for praying.but as being a muslim we must read its translation and act in own lives what quran says.
