(I'm assuming you're muslim and the pregnancy was an accident, since you said yesterday that you 'will' marry her, and you can't marry her when she's pregnant.)



I am a mother, and if my son had someone else tell me this kind of news, I'd lose some respect for him and I would think he's very immature and cannot possibly be ready for marriage or a baby. I would be devastated if he couldn't come to me and tell me face to face (or on the phone).



I'm sure your mom will be shocked and not happy, but if you tell her yourself, it will be soooo much easier on you in the long run. Maybe after she gets over the shock, she will be accepting of the situation. She will see that her son is mature and has learned from his mistake and is doing what's right to fix his mistake.
